I was born in Cologne, Germany, in 1987, and have had the opportunity to visit some
inspiring places within the last years, following the passion of my family to discover
the globe. 2007 I started to photograph professionally.

Early I followed my deep interest in learning languages like English, French, Spanish,
Italian, a bit of Russian and some basic ideas of Japanese. The cultural differences
open a wide variety of impressions.

What inspires me artistically are the decades of the fifties and sixties. The movies,
books, fashion and music of that time transport a certain shape and mood. Energy
and something like a soft boldness, combined with a romantic attitude make it a
special time to me. But still I keep my work open for modern accents and a new
approach.
